This is my first summer living in Japan, and I've found myself noticing colours differently.
Perhaps it's because the season feels so vivid. The skies seem brighter, the sunlight stronger, and on particularly warm afternoons, I instinctively find myself drawn to cool shades of blue and green. Whether it's the glimpse of a quiet stream, the leaves moving gently in the breeze, or the reflection of light on water, these colours somehow make summer feel a little lighter.
When our newest Paraiba Tourmaline pieces arrived, they reminded me of exactly that feeling.

I've always found it fascinating how colours can shape our emotions. We naturally gravitate towards different palettes as the seasons change. Spring brings gentle pastels, autumn invites richer, warmer tones, while summer calls for colours that feel crisp, bright and refreshing. Perhaps that's why Paraiba Tourmaline feels so perfectly at home this time of year.
