Bespoke Engagement Rings: Designing with Pink Sapphires

What began as a sketch of love is now a jewel that will last a lifetime.
When J & A first visited our Boutique, they chanced upon a Pink Sapphire whose soft yet vivid hue reminded them of blooming Sakura petals in spring.
Beyond its identity as a Sapphire, this unheated Pink Sapphire is uniquely cut resulting in a stone with extra scintillation and distinct shine. The way light reflects off the stone mirrors the falling Sakura petals.
Designing Process
It all traces back to October 2024, when J & A joined our bespoke design workshop, Your Story in Every Stone.
With the Pink Sapphire as the heart of their creation, J carefully took the time to sketch his vision of an engagement ring for A, every line drawn with her in mind.
From their exchange of ideas, the design gradually unfolded, rooted in their personal story and love for one another.
The final piece took inspiration from our classic Edith design, from which they lovingly adapted to reflect their own style. We further refined the details by shaping the side stone’s basket into a subtle flower motif, echoing the natural beauty of their chosen sapphire.
Just like J & A’s ring, every bespoke creation begins with a story, a stone, and a dream. With sapphires, celebrated for their durability and their symbolism of sincerity and loyalty, an engagement ring becomes more than a jewel, it becomes a lifelong promise.
